Military Spending Surges
Military Spending reaches all time high
The budgets of the Pentagon now exceeds the budgets for the next ten largest cabinet agencies combined. Current defense spending, after adjusting for inflation, is higher than it was at any point during the Cold War. 2023 will represent "the largest U.S. military budget since World War II."

The department of Veterans Affairs estimates that 107,000 veterans are homeless on any given night.
